Side Eye: Memphitz Sues Producers Of Love and Hip Hop ATL

Well, we can't say we are surprised but producer and label head Memphitz has filed a lawsuit against the producers of the highly syndicated reality show Love and Hip Hop. As the show aired, viewers watched as Kmichelle told her domestic violence story to the whole world, but Memphitz claims that they are all lies. He said that Kmichelle's "worldwide platform" was based on a big fib and that its purpose was to "assassinate [his] character".

“My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”
 

Memphitz is asking for $1 per viewer count and there were 3 million average views per episode so you do the math. We are interested to see how this pans out.

BUT....WHY: Chad Johnson Tattoos Ev's Face On His Leg

The Budweiser’s ‘Made In America’ Festival was headlined by Jay-Z & Pearl Jam.  Artists such as Drake, Run D.M.C., Jill Scott, Chris Cornell and The Hives hit the stage at Benjamin Franklin Parkway on September 1st & 2nd. Bey and Jay surprised the attendees as the walked around, mingled, drank beers and cuddled in public. This festival was probably bananas!!!

 

JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL: Chad and Ev Call it Quits

 

We have to admit, we gave them benefit of the doubt but nevertheless, after 6 short weeks of holy matrimony, our beloved Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) and Evelyn Lozada have decided to call it quits after an alleged Domestic dispute.  On August 11, Chad was arrested for domestic violence after he allegedly head butted his wife.  According to NFL.com and Necolebitchie.com, the newlyweds got into a dispute while driving home from dinner and a receipt for a box of condoms was found. No one can confirm who the rubbers belonged to, but the blame game is definitely being played. Because of this incident, VH1 has decided to cancel the highly anticipated show ‘Ev & Ocho’ which was set to air in the fall. Subsequently, Evelyn’s brother, who has been sick with cancer, passed and Chad lost his contract with the Dolphins. Evelyn has recently done an interview with ABC news where she said

   "He’s a good guy that made a bad choice. He loves football and he’s very driven and a great dad,” she explains. “He made a bad choice that destroyed his life, and I hate that I’m connected to that.”

Let’s put a prayer in the air for Chad and Ev because lately the fates haven't been in their favor.
