Well, we can't say we are surprised but producer and label head Memphitz has filed a lawsuit against the producers of the highly syndicated reality show Love and Hip Hop. As the show aired, viewers watched as Kmichelle told her domestic violence story to the whole world, but Memphitz claims that they are all lies. He said that Kmichelle's "worldwide platform" was based on a big fib and that its purpose was to "assassinate [his] character".
“My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”Memphitz is asking for $1 per viewer count and there were 3 million average views per episode so you do the math. We are interested to see how this pans out.
